(1) Explicit Knowledge                                  (2) Tacit Knowledge

(1) Explicit Knowledge:-
Which can be articulated in formal language and records and transmitted among individuals.Which can generally be written down or other wise documented and shared. Explicit knowledge is objective, lending itself to definitions,Rules,Exact limits, and  often precise meaning. Often it can be said that it is knowledge which has been codified or articulated. For example:-Documents,Book,Mathematical,Expressions,Specification.

(2) Tacit Knowledge:-
The type f knowledge that you gain through personal experience of working. But that is not written down and is difficult to share.the tacit knowledge will form the invisible part of organizational knowledge including organizational culture, Experience, Feeling, Confidence, Relationships, and in fact drives other organization.
